I recorded this song while living in Brooklyn, and attending Pratt Institute of Art. I had just moved to NYC and was transitioning to the new environment. I had a lot of label interest at this point but remained independent after some shady A&R's tried to screw me out of my rights. I released two other singles and shortly after I decided to focus on my art and leave the music industry behind. I continued to write but wasn't really focused on the business aspect of music.
