Old Friends was originally recorded with C-Doc from The Impossebulls. I originally wanted to record the whole Feel Good Music ep with him but due to hectic schedules and such we could never make it happen.

The original version of Old Friends is still a favorite of mine but something was lacking in it and I wasn't sure. It felt like a demo and I knew I wanted this song to have more. For the new updated version I was blessed to have my good friend Paul Dateh sing the chorus. I feel like he really made the song special and captured the vibe of my lyrics perfectly.

Old Friends is a nostalgic song, paying homage to the past, but I also wanted to illustrate that growing old/mature and moving forward isn't such a bad thing at all. This is a record for all the 30+ HipHoppas out there but I believe that everyone can appreciate it- especially since we all grow up, or at least I hope we do.
